Once you've reached a certain age, chances are good your doctor has recommended that you start taking an aspirin every day to help reduce your risk of stroke. However, new research has come out that indicates that at least for certain patients, this might not be such a good idea. In fact, it could do more harm than good. Here's when you should be cautious, and consider a more natural way to prevent a stroke.
According to research conducted at the Intermountain Medical Center Heart Institute in Salt Lake City, taking aspirin for a long period of time may not be all that beneficial.
The research team came to this conclusion after examining 4,124 atrial fibrillation patients. All of them were treated with what is known as an ablation procedure. And after the procedure, because they still had an increased risk of getting a stroke, their doctors put them on aspirin therapy for stroke prevention. But here's the problem. The researchers discovered that the aspirin did nothing to prevent a stroke. And not only that, they also found that it significantly increased the risk of gastrointestinal and genitourinary bleeding.

The researchers concluded that for these patients, aspirin therapy is likely to do more harm than good. I agree. In fact, I never recommend aspirin to reduce the risk of stroke. That's because while aspirin might thin your blood, it doesn't make you any healthier, and it can cause internal bleeding. I'd rather take a blood thinner that doesn't have any side effects, and also makes my body healthier.
Fortunately, such a thing does exist. It's called nattokinase, which is extracted and purified from a Japanese food called natto, made from fermented soybeans. It supplies the body with an active enzyme that dissolves clots before they get big enough to cause a problem. You can find nattokinase in Advanced Natto Formula. This formula also includes l-carnitine, which keeps your heart cells healthy, helps you maintain healthy triglyceride levels, and supports your circulation. Take two Advanced Natto Formula capsules a day along with two Complete Daily Oils. The oils prevent clots from forming, and are a great partner to go along with nattokinase.
One word of caution: if you're already taking aspirin or any other blood-thinning drug, don't combine natto with it. It's possible for your blood to become too thin.
Yours for better health,
