Is the cure for anthrax in your kitchen cupboard?
There's been a big increase in the number of warnings about a possible terrorist attack on the U.S. in recent months. And the most likely form of attack we'll see, say these reports, is a biological attack. That probably means anthrax.
But what if I told you I had a totally unexpected treatment for anthrax? This treatment can actually cure the illness. And it's right in your own kitchen cupboard.
That's right! You have the cure for anthrax right in your kitchen. It's black tea!
As hard as that is to believe, a study has shown that the polyphenols in black tea significantly reduce the dreaded deadly anthrax bugs. Polyphenols are the wonderful chemicals in plants, especially tea, that offer protection from oxidant damage to your cells.

What is interesting is that we think of these compounds as antioxidants. To our normal cells, they are. But cancer cells and bacteria have a totally different electron status than normal cells. They are overloaded with electrons. In an electron-rich environment, these same polyphenols have an opposite effect. They become oxidants. So, in these cells/bacteria, polyphenols spark cell damage or death. That's why they're so wonderful for us. They help our healthy cells and destroy unhealthy cells.
Anthrax is a bacterium that thrives in the absence of oxygen. It is a warfare agent. Inhaling the spores causes a horrible and lethal pneumonia. And the polyphenols in black tea can stop this bug in its tracks.
Interestingly, adding milk to your tea wipes out the effectiveness.
Professor Les Baillie is Professor of Microbiology at Welsh School of Pharmacy. He said, "I would suggest that in the event that we are faced with a potential bio-terror attack, individuals may want to forgo their dash of milk at least until the situation is under control."
I really don't expect a bio-terror attack with anthrax any time soon (if ever). But if I'm wrong, or if you're ever in an anthrax zone, this homemade oxidation remedy against the organism may buy precious time. In that case, drink as much as you can.
Yours for better health and medical freedom,
