Does Merck have a hit list of doctors it wants "neutralized"?
As Congress debates healthcare reform, it's important to know what you're getting. No matter what type of legislation they pass, there is one thing that's for sure: The stranglehold of the drug makers on our medical system will undoubtedly increase. And here's one example of why this is a bad thing.
From Australia comes a shocking revelation uncovered at the Big Pharma giant Merck. Remember Merck? It's the company that makes the drug Vioxx. And Vioxx is the drug that killed and maimed tens of thousands of people, even after there was well documented proof that it was killing people.
The revelation? A Merck employee sent out an email regarding those who opposed continuing use of the lethal chemical. The employee's email read: "We may need to seek them out and destroy them where they live." So was this just some bad joke from a young Merck employee? Hardly. This email was at the heart of a lawsuit brought against Merck and the plaintiff's lawyer Julian Burnside QC read it to the court. He would not use a joke as part of his evidence.
But this story gets even worse. According to The Australian, Merck "made a hit list of doctors who had to be 'neutralized' or discredited because they criticized the anti-arthritis drug the pharmaceutical giant produced.

"Staff ... emailed each other about the list of doctors — mainly researchers and academics — who had been negative about the drug Vioxx or Merck and a recommended course of action."
I can't tell you what they literally mean by "seek out and destroy." In a military operation it could be to kill or murder. In a Big Pharma operation, it could mean to defame, de-license, witch hunt, disgrace, incarcerate, or more. They don't have to physically murder a doctor to destroy him. Simply getting his license destroys him. It effectively kills his ability to serve the public and provide for his family.
We know that elected officials are huge recipients of Pharma blood money. That's why we know healthcare reform will only empower the drug companies further. It definitely won't keep you healthy or treat your illness successfully. Please contact your representatives and tell them to kick Big Pharma out of the halls of government. Tell them to stop taking blood money from these companies. And tell them to put your interests above the interests of the drug companies.
Yours for better health and medical freedom,
